Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam Now Live

See into the Nest of this Family of Majestic Birds

New Video Footage for Bird Enthusiasts

The Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam is now live, offering a rare glimpse into the life of a family of bald eagles.

The nest is located in a remote area of the San Bernardino Mountains, overlooking Big Bear Lake. The camera, set up by the Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam Project, provides a 24/7 live stream of the nest and its inhabitants.

The three eaglets were hatched in early February and are now about two months old. They are growing quickly and learning to fly. The camera provides an up-close view of the eaglets' development, and of their parents' care for them.

Bald eagles are a protected species in the United States, and their nests are typically inaccessible to humans. The Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam provides a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent birds up close.

The camera is part of a larger project to monitor and protect bald eagles in the Big Bear area. The project is a collaboration between the Big Bear Bald Eagle Nest Cam Project, the U.S. Forest Service, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
