Taylor Swift Is on Her Way to Break the Record for Most VMAs Ever
MTV’s Video Music Awards are coming up on August 28th, 2022. So, who will take home the most coveted award of the night, the Video of the Year award? Here’s a hint: It’s probably Taylor Swift.
With 40 nominations and 11 wins, Taylor Swift is the most-nominated and most-awarded artist in VMA history. She’s been nominated for Video of the Year 10 times which she won three times. This year, she’s nominated once again for her song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).”
If Swift wins, she’ll break the record for the most Video of the Year awards won by an artist. The current record is held by Madonna with four wins.
But Swift isn’t the only artist who could break the record this year. Kendrick Lamar is also nominated for Video of the Year for his song “The Heart Part 5.” If he wins, he’ll tie Madonna’s record with four wins.
